Fluid Is Not Pushing Through
How To Warm Up Fluid
If you have already used the cleaning kit on your printhead nozzle and are still experiencing missing lines, fading colors, or incomplete nozzle checks, the next step is to gently warm the cleaning solution before applying it again.
Warming the fluid helps improve its effectiveness by allowing it to better break down dried ink and internal buildup that may not fully dissolve at room temperature. This step can make a significant difference, especially in cases where the clog is more severe or has been present for an extended period of time.
It is important to follow the proper warming procedure carefully. Overheating the fluid or applying it incorrectly can damage the printhead.
Please watch the video below for detailed, step-by-step instructions on how to safely warm and apply the solution for best results.
Push Pull Method – Fluid Not Pushing Through Even After Warming The Fluid
The push pull method involves filling the syringe with approximately 10 mL of cleaning solution, securely reattaching it to the printhead nozzle, and gently applying light pressure to push the fluid through the channel. Then slowly pull back on the syringe until ink and cleaning solution draw into the barrel. This controlled push and pull motion helps break up deeper clogs inside the printhead. Repeat this process by gently pushing and then slowly pulling back until you can no longer draw fluid or ink into the syringe. This typically indicates that the channel is either cleared or no longer allowing movement. Always use steady, controlled pressure and never force the plunger at any point.
Air Clog Removal
If you have gone through all the other troubleshooting steps, there may be an air clog that needs to be checked. Please see the video below.
