How To Run Power Cleaning on ET-2400 Using the Mobile App
Step 1: Install / Open the App
Download or open:
Epson Smart Panel
Make sure:
- Your printer is powered on
- Your phone is connected to the same WiFi network
- Ink tanks are at least 50% full
Step 2: Connect to the Printer
- Open Epson Smart Panel
- Select your ET-2400
- Wait for it to fully sync
Step 3: Navigate to Maintenance
- Tap Printer Settings
- Tap Maintenance
- Select Power Cleaning or Power Ink Flushing
If you do not see it:
- Update the app
- Make sure firmware is current
Step 4: Run Power Cleaning
- Confirm ink levels are sufficient
- Tap Start
- Allow the process to complete fully
(Do NOT turn off the printer)
This process can take several minutes.
After Power Cleaning
- Wait 30–60 minutes
- Print a Nozzle Check
- Evaluate improvement
Do NOT immediately run a second power cleaning.
Wait at least 12 hours before running another one.
Important Warnings
• Power Cleaning uses a significant amount of ink
• Do not run more than 1–2 in a 24-hour period
• Make sure tanks are adequately filled
If this does not resolve the issue, the next step would be manual port flushing or the push pull method.
Required Maintenance
What Type Of Maintenance Is Needed? Every 6-12 months the maintenance box will need to be checked and possibly replaced. The ET 2400 uses a L3110 Maintenance box, we do carry at the Best printers Store, Here!
